Ask 2

I was on a work trip to Orlando for a new job, already nervous and feeling unsure about every decision that had led up to this point. I would be gone for two solid weeks, leaving my family at home. I was stepping into a role where I was being trained by the very guys I had been hired to replace, all while in an unfamiliar city.

I was in the rental car and asked God to help me find a gospel radio station. Less than a mile down the road, I looked up and saw a billboard for a local gospel station. In case you are wondering, the station is GPraise 106.3 if you are in the area. That answered prayer was a confirmation that prayer works and that I was doing what God wanted me to do.

Never be afraid to ask God for anything. He may answer in the form of a billboard. I asked God to help me find a radio station, and He literally showed me a sign. Eleven years later, I still listen to this radio station through their streaming app.

Throughout the years, I have prayed and asked God for what may seem like ridiculous requests, many of which He has answered. What I have learned is that God listens. He wants to hear our voice, and He wants to bless us. He already knows what we need, so do not be afraid to ask. You never know what billboard or sign He will show you!

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I am grateful for every blessing and answered prayer. Thank You for knowing my heart, and answering even my simplest of prayers, up to miracles, and everything in between. Thank You for answering prayers made by others for me. As well as for Your blessing that I didn't pray even have to pray for. I know I am blessed through Jesus, and how Holy Spirit intercedes on my behalf. In Jesus’ name I pray with a grateful heart. Amen.
